On Sept. 6, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced appointments to the Michigan Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (MI-STEM) Education Advisory Council. They include Adam F. Zemke, of Ypsilanti, the global STEAM education manager for Ford Motor Company and a former State Representative. He earned BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from MSU. Zemke will represent economic sectors of the state that rely on a workforce with a STEM education.
